Purpose

The primary purpose of the Twin City Area Narcotics Anonymous website is to be a Public Information service vehicle. Additionally, this site serves to provide information and resources of interest to TCANA members.

Property, Development and Maintenance

The TCANA website is the property of Twin City Area Narcotics Anonymous. It is developed and maintained by the Twin City Area Narcotics Anonymous Public Information Subcommittee.

Because information posted on the TCANA website is available to the public at large and because this website is primarily a Public Information service vehicle, development of website-related policies shall be the responsibility of the TCANA PI Subcommittee.

The Public Information Subcommittee may be contacted via email from the contact page.

Endorsement and Affiliation

Twin City Area Narcotics Anonymous shall not endorse, finance, or lend the NA name to any outside entities involved in the production or use of the TCANA website. Where software necessary for the use of this website is provided by outside entities, no endorsement or affiliation shall be implied either by the use of such software or links provided to access such software.

Where links to outside websites are provided on the TCANA website, no endorsement of or affiliation with those websites or content or advertising displayed on those websites shall be implied.

Listing Events

The listing of events on the TCANA website shall be governed by the following policies and the website Privacy and Anonymity Policy.

Only events sponsored by official service bodies (e.g. home groups, service committees, etc.) of Twin City Area Narcotics Anonymous shall be listed.

Events shall be listed within two days of receipt of event information and shall removed within two days after the conclusion of the event.

TCANA Email

The TCANA Public Information Subcommittee shall maintain one or more email accounts belonging to the tcana.org domain. Those accounts shall be used for correspondence associated with the TCANA website and shall be accessed by visitors to the website via a web page form.

Correspondence using tcana.org email accounts shall be governed by both our Traditions and the website Privacy and Anonymity Policy.

The TCANA Public Information Subcommittee shall reserve the right monitor tcana.org email accounts for compliance with this policy. Additionally, the TCANA Public Information Subcommittee shall reserve the right to take corrective measures when a violation of this policy has been determined to have occured.
